Gorgeous hand made jewelry

Eva

Hi Everyone!  I'm Eva, the owner of Salty Isla.  Salty Isla opened in 2023, but my passion for jewelry making started a long time ago.   I created my first necklace to accessorize a dress I wore to a friend's wedding over 20 years ago and I haven't stopped making jewelry since. I've dabbled in so many forms of jewelry making.  From metalsmithing, to ceramic jewelry, to beading ~I've done it all.  Several years ago, I decided to add permanent jewelry to the mix and it has taken off.   It's a true joy to see customers come in with loved ones and leave with  matching bracelets.  Customers love it !   This summer, I bought a building in Sayville which allowed me to relocate Salty Isla to our current larger space.  In addition to permanent jewelry,  I recently launched an embroidered hoodie collection that showcases beachy designs representing Long Island. My shop has been featured in News Day twice this year which has been an honor.  A fun fact about me is that along with making jewelry, I'm  a full-time teacher in a public school on Long Island.  I live in Sayville, and have two children.
